To write or not to write
! j1 p& M, k R拿起笔还是放下7 {' a! S' M8 k
Writing is not easy. I do it everyday.
& y& m) A( S' N+ Y" R. B0 O写作非常不容易。
' i8 K+ S& Y% l3 Z2 N/ K; V: R# rAnd I can tell you, it's quite a challenge./ |' Q; r9 c; V0 @
' r7 j2 p0 N* \8 z# L3 U% D9 q0 oBut, the more I do it, the easier I get to just write.# m- m7 {: i. ?% A) O) C6 E- x
! O+ M4 x R8 v9 t/ e' u' g$ r
Sometimes, that's the most difficult part starting.4 R4 a: d2 p$ o( _0 _
% o! j( o2 M# h5 ?* E% V/ q7 OWhen people ask me about writing-how they can write-I often suggest they brainstorm first.# a* }6 [& ]* a1 w" d4 \1 }
5 c, R! K$ `% m+ q h* j
Writing the main ideas collected to a topic, usually produces some great things.6 h7 {; s9 h" ]/ R" C9 [0 e
6 E, U x7 |' w! ^, B
If the things get organized, perhaps through an outline,
$ L/ U" {/ p/ B% ^3 l e. ~如果条理化,也许会产生一份提纲,% Z1 z$ R5 f" c+ ~5 b H
you can write something really great.3 s$ `* T3 k" ~, \5 q
! u$ \' M6 H% c+ P9 A* `Most of the writings I do with spontaneous, I just start writing., K7 x( i W$ a0 b0 M
$ U" z0 E2 ?: }; C) |I just stopped and done.
" J. M, G5 i$ c8 @: U. [But I always go over what I wrote at least two times.) a& }) D1 z4 v3 v9 x
v& G B; j9 C* v! w* Y6 z0 W
The first time I go over my writing is spell-check the word,% A* X* r4 T# I" W: m$ o% c
# b2 B. x" J* Q5 k# b0 PIt's unacceptable to deliver a piece of writing with misspelling in it.
9 |& X3 Y8 _& U' c: e
The second time, I actually read what I wrote aloud,2 b- F6 h2 j: u6 V! F4 p
5 u) o5 O3 e6 E1 Band add things that may I missed,
$ |# u$ x. ?' l* [it could be a idea that seems incomplete or something else.8 c# D4 i$ _$ U. b! Y
9 w9 k2 Y# i6 J* i: dIf you have the time, it's good to put your writing down for a little while,
$ G6 {) q! B8 _& ~4 S+ _and read it again later, and to see how you like it.0 s$ H7 B1 T$ U7 d
3 j7 ~9 E( T* p; S* \5 d* K
You may have something you wish to add or subtract.
" M5 L" u! ]$ f( R2 wIf you have a serious paper to write,
0 S: @" e' W" h: o+ C6 O$ f% c" Fand you have completed all of the things I talked about,4 |- ]4 S7 F U
the best thing to do-before you return your paper-is to have someone to read what you wrote and make comments on it.8 N5 Q2 [! S8 m. T+ o
0 L" `. K$ W' MThere is no doubt that practice makes perfect.
3 G8 ]( r6 J, C1 b5 X. l; p3 V. ~
or at least better, so, if you want to be a better writer in Korean or English,
I recommend that you write as much as you can.
