To write or not to write
9 e9 Z+ x* w$ D# g+ L( |拿起笔还是放下6 A+ E( `6 \8 K3 B. o. p! q ^4 A
Writing is not easy. I do it everyday.5 [/ ^- z, i |9 J& P: Q0 d
1 O# I6 ^. d! |9 D2 G& r7 w# p3 ?& n3 aAnd I can tell you, it's quite a challenge.7 l( G0 I6 n3 `/ y4 G
: a# v* d g" j$ b6 ]9 |2 O
But, the more I do it, the easier I get to just write.
5 n& E8 t; s3 E( ASometimes, that's the most difficult part starting.
- D" P! 8 x; @1 h; B9 T: k, N# U
When people ask me about writing-how they can write-I often suggest they brainstorm first.
9 I9 ^, ^" Q9 l5 ^Writing the main ideas collected to a topic, usually produces some great things.
+ S" A n% L0 z8 D$ u/ zIf the things get organized, perhaps through an outline,$ k% X+ E7 \& b7 l' [% u
! D! V8 `) E: w7 Vyou can write something really great.
( q$ ~1 T! w3 g7 Y4 {& x
Most of the writings I do with spontaneous, I just start writing.
) O! G& J P8 I C5 o7 }大部分的作品我都是自然而然写出,我才刚开始写作。" R0 V. G8 u3 Z' Z2 c a! s: y1 ^1 }
I just stopped and done.
9 A% J% ~& u( y* i4 Z: c& v4 m0 `+ V8 x我只是停下来做而已。9 `3 n& |" s. \4 _( F& i1 M8 }
But I always go over what I wrote at least two times.3 U3 i$ D( \ }# E' u- s8 K) L
) k. ]4 G3 w& d) z/ ]The first time I go over my writing is spell-check the word,
# {! U8 ~# _, X x, o, kIt's unacceptable to deliver a piece of writing with misspelling in it.* C1 {' ~" `2 U1 J6 J* H/ |( i
\3 h0 P \, m* m8 j
The second time, I actually read what I wrote aloud,4 _9 I( o w8 v# q- w4 G
& J+ M6 V6 S' w) _. [and add things that may I missed,
! B2 G: \+ o2 Q ?2 Z' H2 E" Ait could be a idea that seems incomplete or something else.
; x- ~% @. 0 P$ ]0 y, x& H+ h8 S
If you have the time, it's good to put your writing down for a little while,
7 ?6 G9 @* g% f7 V: V- fand read it again later, and to see how you like it.
6 M* l) T1 y7 D7 t+ @You may have something you wish to add or subtract.
, V4 {, b9 n- w2 K4 P5 Y3 EIf you have a serious paper to write,5 g1 _9 Z: S9 D1 |. U v) h1 I
如果你想写些非常严肃的东西,; i# k( U4 J: a, O
and you have completed all of the things I talked about,
the best thing to do-before you return your paper-is to have someone to read what you wrote and make comments on it.
* b. I5 ~% x; Z3 h$ I, C0 e6 d
There is no doubt that practice makes perfect.1 A7 \! A! h' j+ J( U. z
o9 @* |$ p3 L8 Y4 Dor at least better, so, if you want to be a better writer in Korean or English,
I recommend that you write as much as you can.3 b$ m# _+ h ]- i* g: ]8 }
