Where is the father?

"Look," said the elder brother. "How nice these paintings are!" 6 O2 L1 R4 @/ h$ P" J5 y
- q3 F2 L0 }/ C2 k( \ "Yes," said the younger, "but in all these paintings there is only the mother and the children. Where is the father?"+ T3 l P# n+ c6 V/ a c7 `
The elder brother thought for a moment and then explained, "Obviously he was painting the pictures."
